Apartment Sonnleitn is decorated and equipped to a high standard offering an ideal holiday base for a couple or family within minutes from the Nassfeld Ski Arena.
The apartment is located on the top floor of the Pension Sonnleitn, a lovely traditional style catered chalet situated in a pretty village just minutes from the resort centre, which is easily accessed by using the regular free shuttle bus that stops just 200m away.
Guests can also benefit from the use of the chalet facilities which include a FREE sauna, Wifi internet connection and a games room.
Accommodation is decorated to a high standard with pine furniture and wooden floors throughout and comprises a small hallway with cloakroom and shoe storage, bathroom, a large, seperate bedroom with Austrian twin beds and views of a pine forest, an open plan kitchen/lounge room with seating, satellite tv, a double sofa bed and a front facing window with views of the Alps.

Additional rooms with balconies next to the apartment can also be booked on a room only basis for families who would prefer some extra space in addition to the apartment. Please enquire for further details.

Nassfeld Ski Arena in the southern region of Carinthia is relatively undiscovered by the British market but it is a popular holiday destination with Austrian and German skiiers and ranks among Austria's top ten ski resorts.
This beautiful region shares its border with Italy and Slovenia and basks in many more hours of sunshine compared to the rest of Europe while Nassfeld enjoys a fantastic snow record in addition to modern and extensive snow making equipment.
The resort has 110km of slopes reached by Europe's longest gondola, the Millenium Express, and all are serviced by the most up-to-date lifts and with virtually no queues.
The resort favours beginners and intermediate skiiers with plenty of gentle blue slopes and challenging reds.
Boarders are also well catered for with a snow park and half pipe and the off piste is plentyful. You can even pop over the border for an authentic Italian lunch time pizza!
There is an excellent English speaking ski school and fantastic facilities for children.

There are plenty of restaurants and lively apres ski bars on the mountain. The resort village of Tropolach is a pretty traditional farming community with a shop, post office and a few restaurants.
Nightlife centres mainly around the gondola station in the resort village of Tropolach where you will find a lively log cabin stlye ski hut, called the Baren Hutte, a pizzeria, Chilli's restaurant and bar, a sports bar and two night clubs.

Price Details : The price is for the apartment for a week with no hidden extras. We provide bin liners, tea towels, cleaning cloths and toilet rolls for your convenience.
We can also provide a welcome pack of bread, eggs, cheese and milk etc. Please advise if you require this at time of booking.
Chalet facilities are available for guests to use.
Additional rooms can be booked on a room only basis when booking the self catering apartment for those not wishing to use the sofa bed. Please enquire at time of booking for prices.
All linen and towels are provided and the price includes end of stay cleaning.
Breakfast and meals are available in the chalet and can be booked and payed for locally.
